The first cycle of academic studies lasts three or four years and is evaluated with at least 180 points or 240 ECTS points.
The basic requirement for enrollment in the first cycle of academic studies is completed four-year education in Bosnia and Herzegovina or an equivalent education abroad that enables enrollment on university study in the country in which is Students which are finished high school education abroad are mandatory to executed testimonials or degrees nostrification in according to valid regulations.
With the ending the first cycles academic study the title of completed undergraduate studies (Bachelor) or equivalent is acquired.

II CYCLE ACADEMIC STUDY
The second cycle of academic studies lasts one or two years and is evaluated with at least 60 or at least 120 ECTS points, so that when combined with the ECTS points of the first cycle of studies, it amounts to at least 300 ECTS points in total.
The right to enroll in the second cycle of study is available to all candidates who completed the previous study with at least 180 ECTS points for studies lasting two years, i.e. at least 240 ECTS points for studies lasting one study year, as well as candidates who completed graduate studies under the pre-Bologna system. studies, which in the determined equivalence procedure is equated to the first cycle of university education as well as candidates who completed graduate studies under the pre-Bologna system studies, which in the determined equivalence procedure is equated to the first cycle of university education.
The right to enroll in the second cycle of studies is also available to students who have a minimum of 240 ECTS points after completing the first and second cycles.

INTEGRATED ACADEMIC STUDY
Integrated academic study is united study of the first and of the second cycle which lasts five or six years and is evaluated with at least 300 or 360 ECTS
Right to enroll in the integrated academic study have everyone candidates which meet the requirements for enrollment in the first cycle defined in member Rules.
Integrated academic study leads to the professional title of master’s degree or equivalent, or the professional title of doctor or equivalent

III CYCLE ACADEMIC STUDY
The third cycle academic study lasts three years and is evaluated with at least 180 ECTS

NON-CYCLIC STUDIES
PROFESSIONAL STUDY
The university can to organize a professional study, as type of non-cyclical academic education that is evaluated with minimally 60 ECTS up to 120 ECTS points, on the basis of which it is possible to continue studies in the first cycle.
Right to enroll in the professional study have candidates who meet the requirements for enrollment in the first cycle of academic studies.
Upon completion of the professional study, the professional title of associate degree is obtained with an indication of the professional area that is realized by the approved study program.
According to the propositions of the study program of the first cycle of study, ECTS points obtained on an adequate professional study can be partially or fully counted in the ECTS points that need to be obtained on the first cycle of studies, which is determined by the council of the member by a special act.

SPECIALIST STUDY
The university can organize a specialist course that can be accessed by candidates which are finished others cycle university education, integrated academic study or graduate studies in pre-Bologna system studying, a which are in with the established equivalence procedure equates with the second cycle of university education, that is integrated academic I am studying.
Specialist study lasts least one studio year and values are with minimum 60 ECTS credits.
With the ending specialist study acquires are vocation academic specialists (Eng. academic specialist) with an indication of the field from the study program or an equivalent title. Specialist study ensures walkability on the third cycle study after completed of the second cycle of study, integrated study or graduate study according to the pre-Bologna system of study.
With the propositions of the study program of the third cycle of studies, ECTS credits achieved at an adequate level specialist study are in part or in integrity to count in ECTS points which is needed to realize on to the third cycle

OTHER TYPES OF NON-CLYNICAL STUDIES
Non-cyclical education is a special type of education that allows interested persons to supplement their education, which is, as a rule, organized in the form of courses, practical trainings, summer schools, seminars, distinction studies and micro-qualifications that result in the awarding of certificates and micro-credentials.
The non-cyclical form of education is carried out on the basis of a program approved by the Senate of the University upon the proposal of one or more organizational units.
In accordance with the decision of the Senate on the specific program of non-cyclical education and in accordance with the relevant legal regulations on adult education and lifelong learning, the University and/or the organizational unit are authorized to issue certificates and micro-credentials on the completed non-cyclical form of education for the acquired micro-qualification.
The non-cyclical form of education is realized by a member of the University that is the parent for a certain field and, as a rule, it is carried out by the academic staff of the University, with the possible involvement of experts from practice.
Passedexams and accomplished ECTS points acquired on non-cyclical form of education can be recognized in equivalence procedure like exam or part
ECTS points accomplished from lifelong and non-cyclical education, micro qualification, as well as program summer/winter school of education which is approved by the Senate of the University are recognized in procedures of equivalence of cyclic forms of education
Certificates and microcredits issued after the completion of non-cyclical forms of education serve as proof of the candidate’s ability to perform certain tasks and are not equivalent to titles and diplomas after completion of cyclical forms of study issued by the University, i.e. the organizational unit of the University.

DISTINCTIVE STUDY
The university can implement a distinctive study that enables the student to acquire the right to enroll in the same or higher level of study.
Distinctive study is organized for enrollment in study programs of the first and second cycle of studies, and in the case when students after completing the first cycle of studies or pre-Bologna graduate studies must pass the distinction of subjects or complete additional teaching obligations in order to be able to continue their studies in a related study program of the second cycle of study.
Distinct studies may last for a maximum of two semesters.
Different studies cannot be organized for enrollment in the first cycle of studies, integrated studies and professional studies.
For students of a distinction study, it is not possible to carry out the completion of the studies, which implies the defense of the final thesis, but it is recorded that the student has completed the distinction study.
A certificate of completion of a distinction study can be issued to a student who has passed subjects from a distinction study. Considering that the completion of the distinguished study does not result in the acquisition of a professional title, a diploma or a supplement to the diploma cannot be issued.
Program of distinctive study adopts Council of the organizational unit as part of the study program, which is approved by the Senate.
