The right to participate in the Competition for enrollment in the first year of professional studies, the first cycle, and integrated studies.

(1) The right to participate in the Competition for enrollment in the first year of professional studies, the first cycle of studies, and integrated studies under equal conditions is granted to:

Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and foreign nationals who have completed a four-year secondary education in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
Candidates who have completed secondary education outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for whom it has been determined, after the recognition or nostrification process, that they have completed adequate education for continuing their studies;
Candidates who have completed a four-year secondary education under international programs approved by the competent ministry.

(2) Candidates who have completed secondary education outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to participate in the Competition even before the recognition or nostrification of their secondary education certificate obtained abroad. Candidates whose nostrification process has not been completed are required to submit proof of the initiated nostrification process.

(3) For candidates who have completed secondary education under international programs approved by the competent ministry, and whose results of external examinations are published in August or September, the member institutions of the University are obliged to include them in the enrollment process even before the issuance of certificates of passed external examinations, based on predicted grades.

The right to participate in the Competition for enrollment in the first year of the second cycle of studies.

(1) The right to participate in the Competition for enrollment in the first year of the II cycle of studies under equal conditions is available to:

citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and foreign citizens who have completed the corresponding first cycle of studies at an accredited institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is evaluated with at least 180 or 240 (E)CTS study points, which together with the evaluation of the second cycle of studies amounts to at least 300 (E)CTS;
Access to the second cycle of studies lasting one and two years is also available to students who have completed (3+2) or (4+1) studies in their previous education, and ultimately, after previously completing the first and second cycles, have a total of at least 240 (E)CTS;
Candidates who have completed their studies according to pre-Bologna curricula and programs at other higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for whom, after the procedure of equivalence of degrees, it has been determined that they meet the requirements for enrollment in the second cycle of studies, as well as
Candidates who have completed the first cycle or pre-Bologna studies outside Bosnia and Herzegovina at accredited institutions, and for whom, after the procedure of recognition or equivalence/nostrification, it has been determined that they have completed adequate education for continued education.

(2) A candidate who has met the requirements has the right to enroll in study programs in other fields that differ from the field of the study program of the first cycle of studies that he or she has completed, under the conditions determined by the Senate or which are determined by the study program.

(3) Candidates who have completed their studies outside Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to participate in the Competition even before the recognition or nostrification of the diploma of completed studies abroad has been completed.

Candidates for whom the nostrification procedure has not been completed are required to submit a confirmation of the initiated nostrification procedure. A candidate may conditionally enroll in the first year of study before the diploma is validated.

The selection and scoring of candidates will be based on the results of the general knowledge test and the achievements and success of the candidate during his/her education.

Verification of online received documents, admission and enrollment of students in the first year of study is carried out by the Student Admission and Enrollment Commission appointed by the Senate

Papers need to be submitted (Undergraduate):

For enrollment in the first year of study, candidates are required to submit original documents or certified copies of:

high school certificates, diplomas;
a completed application for enrollment in which the study program to which he is applying is correctly indicated,
enrollment, semester list and “ŠV”-form;
enrollment form
data on health condition – medical certificate;
for study programs conducted in English – proof of knowledge of the English language.

Note: The decision to announce the competition for enrollment in studies and the deadlines for enrollment is made by the Senate.
